Rotation Accuracy Analysis of Aerostatic Spindle Considering Shaft’s Roundness and Cylindricity

The rotation accuracy of the aerostatic spindle can easily be affected by shaft shape errors due to small gas film clearance. Thus, main with largest scale—that is, roundness and cylindricity errors—are studied in this paper, a dynamic mathematical model is established consideration roundness, errors, speed. In order construct model, discrete coefficient index radius based on measurement data are proposed. Then, simulation calculations conducted measured constructed model. calculation results compared using error analyzer. show that low subjected less unbalanced force smaller as obtained experiment.
